Penfold Grange 1993

Arguably Australia's finest red wine, yes I had the chance to try this wonderful Aussie red last weekend, and I have to say it was everything I expected. Thanks Phil for thinking of me when you decided it was time to open it.

So how did it taste? Still remarkably young, this is a full bodied and well balanced wine, deep and complex flavors and aromas including, among others, black cherries, purple plums and wild berries, all with a slightly jammy nature and with just the right levels of oak and tannins. A very well balanced and well made wine, well it should be for the price! Drinking from now and may have another 20 years in it.

Simply wonderful.......what do you say Patrick?

"Too much of a good thing is wonderful."
