Gozo.......Number 56.

The UK Sunday Times this week in it's travel supplement covered the top 100 Planet's Best Holidays for 2007, and yes you guessed Gozo is in at number 56, this paper is one of the top sellars here in the UK so excellent publicty. Allas Malta is not in the list.

56 The best way to soak up the lazy rustic charm of Gozo is not in a posh hotel, but a restored farmhouse. Two dozen of them are available to rent, most with limestone courtyards, beamed ceilings and antique furniture. For example, the three-bedroom Luna, in the village of Xaghra, with a private pool, costs £504/£688 per week through Gozo Farmhouses
(00 356 2156 1280, www.gozofarmhouses.com). Fly to Malta with Air Malta (0845 607 3710, www.airmalta.com), then take the ferry to Gozo.

I think that more than two dozen farmhouses are available to rent on Gozo, but still good publicity for the islands.
