Top Five Best Islands To Live On. Is Gozo in there?

We decided yesterday to go and look at American style fridge freezers, you know the ones with the side by side doors. We looked at these before we left the UK but decided to wait until our arrival here in sunny Gozo. So we went to the store to check out prices, we found one that we liked and asked the price, I was told €1595.00 I thought that sounds expensive and duly shopped around, they were all a similar price. With the use of Google I thought lets check out some prices, the LG fridge freezer we had looked at, in the UK £650.00, in Italy €850.00. Now I realise that prices from country to country will vary due to exchange rates etc. Most white goods supplied here in Malta and Gozo are supplied from Italy, so why such a large difference in the prices?
