Tommorrow is Tax Freedom day.

Tommorrow here in the UK is tax freedom day, if you take all the taxes that we pay - income tax, fuel duty, local government tax, car tax, in fact anything that has tax attached to it, add them all up, for the average tax payer everything that you have earned so far this year has been for the tax man.

Everything that you earn after this point is for you and your family, now isn't that depressing, to know that you have been grafting for 5 months for the tax man. The graph below show the UK in 2005 and shows the date as May 31

It’s demoralizing to think we spend so long each year working for politicians whose incompetence guarantees that vast amounts of the tax we pay gets wasted. Politicians keep putting our taxes up and tax freedom day keeps getting later every year (it is 3 days later this year) but we still have second rate public services, and violent crime is out of control.

Figures published earlier this month showed that the amount of disposable income Britons take home is rising at its slowest rate for at least 10 years.

I think it is about time this Labour government did us all a favour and fell on it's sword......

Any comments??
