The Old Farmhouse.
A few people have said to me "you keep shouting about this old Gozitan farmhouse that you have had restored, stop yapping about it and get some pictures on your blog so that we can all have a look". So here they are. First a little background, the ground floor is thought to have been built around 1800 and then the first floor added 100 years later, Gill and I bought the house from the family of the late Professor Joseph Aquilina, LL.D., Ph.D. (1911-1997) linguist and author of the Maltese English / English Maltese dictionary, this was his residence for a number of year. We purchased the house in 2002 and it took around 18 months to complete the restoration work. So here are some pictures before, during and after restoration.

The back just as work begins.

The kitchen prior to work beginning.
